About Us
The Institute Menezes Braganza, is an prominient institution of long standing repute in Goa, promotes language/ literature, art and culture in the state. Formaly known as the Institute Vasco Da Gama was established on 24th November 1871 was renamed after Goa’s liberation as Institute Menezes Braganza in 1963. It was controlled and financed by the govt. of Goa, subsequently in 1997, the existence of the said institute came to an end and the Govt. of Goa re-established the Institute as a new Society and registered it under the Registration of Societies Act 1860.
